By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to: Examine and explore the existential and ecological field conditions for the emergence of grief and sorrow Apply relevant grief theory to inform clinical understanding and therapeutic direction Offer activities, experiments and ritual that support the grief process and relational repair in the face of loss Create a supportive therapeutic environment that invites and welcomes felt-sense experiences of grief Integrate gestalt therapy methodology into grief-sensitive practice This course is suited to mental health professionals, including gestalt therapists, who wish to develop their understanding, experience and competency in working with grief and sorrow across a range of therapeutic contexts.
